Let’s face it, there’s something mystical or magical about the whole concept of making money online.

Think about it…

You don’t have to break a sweat and you can count on money appearing on your online bank account, like clockwork.

Too Good To Be True?

Yes, it sometimes seems like it’s too good to be true.

Most people for the longest time envision making honest dollars by the sweat of their brow.

That’s right.

They roll up the sleeves, they put in the work, and after putting in eight hours of hard physical labor, they get paid.

It’s kind of a shock to people who define work that way to find out about people who just sit back at home watching Netflix and checking their phones to see how much money they made.

This is not a fantasy. This happens all the time. There are all sorts of online revenue-generating systems that you can build right now.

Is Online Money Making Real?

The money is real and since there is naturally a lot of excitement about this, it’s no surprise that scammers have been working overtime to fleece hardworking people interested in building their online businesses.

There are now many ways to make money online, from selling digital products like ebooks, pictures, to even selling physical products.

Many people are using the Internet to make a lot of money. It’s the success stories of real earners that most scammers portray to scam innocent people.

How To Spot Scams

The good news is that these online scams they’re very easy to spot because they work in a pretty much predictable way.

If you broke them all down and looked at characteristics they have in common that you can see a very clear process.

And by understanding how this process works, you can then be on the lookout for telltale signs or red flags regarding certain online offers.

This will help you spot and avoid scams.

How Most Scams Work

Well, first of all, there’s the bait and switch.

They would present you with all sorts of proof of income.

And when I started talking about people making a few dollars here and there, we’re talking about seven figures, six figures.

The reason they do this is they want to appeal to how much you hate your job.

If you’re the typical working American, you probably are not all that happy with your job.

I’m sure you’re thankful that your job takes care of the bills. But if you were given a choice, you probably wouldn’t work with your current employer.

You probably have other ideas.

Watch out for Income Claims

So these scammers and scam companies would come up with all sorts of income claims, and awesome imagery of what your life could be if you didn’t have to worry about making your daily bread.

But this is all a dream.

It’s an illusion.

The inflated claims may be based on a method that happened to somebody at some point in time in the past.

Guess what?

That person isn’t you. What they’re not telling you is that for the person to generate that kind of income, they’re doing something else.

Maybe they’re buying advertising.

Maybe they were at the right place at the right time, whatever the case may be.

It’s based on unrealistic, or improbable or non-repeatable methods.

Bait and Switch

Regardless of the explanation, you can rest assured that you’re not going to get the same results.

So the three key basic elements of any kind of online scam are that there’s some sort of bait and switch.

They get you excited about making money a certain way and the system that you buy or the product that you’re stuck with doesn’t take you to the outcome that you’re looking for.

They Get You All Excited

The second part is all about excitement. You’re excited, you’re all excited because they make all sorts of inflated claims that may be real.

Now, let’s get that clear.

A lot of these income statements are real, but the problem is, they’re based on certain factors that may not apply in your situation. It’s not going to help you.

Unrealistic Methods

They also talk about making money by using unrealistic methods.

That’s why when you do get involved, you waste forever trying to make the methods work, only to end up frustrated, with zero results.

If you notice any of these signs, then it’s time to get out of there, before you are scammed!


Are There Real Genuine Opportunities Out There?

Of course there are!

The Internet has made more money for more people around the world than ever before. And that’s because it works.

Unlike in the past where one has to spend a lot of money to create a business and hope it works, now just about anyone can get started with making money online.

And many of them are succeeding, despite the many traps and scams out there.

The thing is just to be careful before jumping into any online money making opportunity.

No matter how good or juicy it might look in the beginning, do your due diligence before getting involved.

That can be the big difference between succeeding and falling for a scam online.
